Job Requirements
- 18 years and older
- Must pass a drug test and background screen
- Ability to lift packages up to 45 pounds
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry and walk up to 10 hours a day
- Ability to hear audible safety notifications including forklift horns
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- Flexible working hours including occasional after hours
- Prepared to undertake additional training
- Must be available to work weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in warehouse, cargo handling, or logistics preferred
- Ability to operate motorized vehicles safely
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
- Flexibility to work weekends and varied shifts
Job Duties
- Responsible for operational performance to maximize synergies, deliver Pinnacle promise, and fulfill vision, culture and mission
- Loading and unloading cargo, mail, express, baggage, freight and company material on and off trucks and aircraft
- Transporting cargo between freighter and passenger stands where required
- Handling cargo warehousing and ramp activities including receiving, dispatching, and staging airfreight and mail
- Operating motorized vehicles such as ground power units and tugs towing up to 80,000 pounds
- Cleaning work areas, equipment, and facilities
- Learning and development through training to meet customer and staff objectives
- Responding to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community
- Ensuring company, client policies, and standard operating procedures are adhered to
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, security, and TSA legislation
- Developing and maintaining a positive health and safety culture
