Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating tractor-trailers and other delivery vehicles
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Physical ability to bend, kneel, lift and perform manual tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Experience with trailer operation, specifically able to pull back a 24ft trailer
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
Job Duties
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and current driver’s license
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including tractor-trailers, delivery vans, and courier vehicles
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Able to work as a team
- Communicate effectively with customers when required
- Pull orders, load and unload goods and materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual methods
- Unload safely when necessary
- Assist in warehouse when needed
- Bend, kneel and lift as needed to perform various tasks
- Maintain proper delivery paperwork and ensure it is returned to warehouse after every delivery
- Maintain accurate records, including mileage, and any incidents or delays
- Other duties as assigned
