Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous sanitation and warehouse experience preferred
- ability to read and follow instructions
- ability to work independently and in a team
- flexibility to work required hours including possible overtime
- ability to work in cold storage conditions
- ability to lift and move up to 50lbs regularly and up to 100lbs occasionally
- good verbal and written communication skills
- willingness to submit to background check and drug screening
- dependable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Previous sanitation and/or warehouse experience preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
- ability to work independently and possess strong customer service skills
- capable of multi-tasking, organizational skills, flexibility, and excellent time management
- flexible to work overtime preferred
- ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
- regular, predictable, full attendance essential
- willingness to work the required schedule and location
- completion of background investigation and drug screening required
Job Duties
- Proficient in mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming surfaces
- empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily
- operates trash compactor when applicable
- pulls pallets and cleans/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis
- cleans up spills or breakages and handles them per food safety standards
- cleans other areas including break rooms, restrooms, and offices
- completes daily sanitation logs
- utilizes chemicals, detergents, and cleaning equipment
- operates scrubber and pallet jacks if required
- identifies and addresses cleanliness and sanitation issues
- complies with all safety requirements
- escalates issues timely to supervisor
- electronically scans products using warehouse management system
- performs other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
