Job Requirements
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license or valid commercial driver’s license CDL
- must possess knowledge and skills to operate a motor vehicle safely
- must be able to pass appropriate background checks needed for area of responsibility e.g. federal DOD security clearance
- pass the GSA defensive driving course
- be available to work a variety of hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 40 lbs and sometimes over 50 lbs with assistance
- able to walk, stoop, bend and stand for long periods
- able to operate motorized equipment including forklifts
Job Qualifications
- Eighteen months experience performing warehousing-related duties
- knowledge of safe operation of motor vehicles and forklifts
- valid state driver’s license or commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- ability to pass appropriate background and security checks
- successful completion of GSA defensive driving course
- physical ability to perform manual labor tasks
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Receives and unloads incoming merchandise deliveries
- pulls merchandise in accordance with established procedures for shipment, transfers, or customer orders as applicable
- operates motor vehicle and forklift in performance of daily duties
- stores and stocks merchandise within the warehouse
- maintains organized and clean warehouse environment
- assists with inventory control and cycle counts
- follows all safety procedures and guidelines
