Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1 year of experience preferred
  • Forklift certification required
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, crouch and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to record and verify numbers up to 17 characters
  • Willingness to cross-train in other departments
  • Flexibility with schedule including breaks, extended hours, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1 year of warehouse or related experience preferred
  • Forklift certified
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • General knowledge of automobile components
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Operate stand up and sit down forklifts and hand jacks to load and unload trucks
  • Perform scheduled forklift inspections and maintain operation logs
  • Deliver packages and parts to appropriate departments
  • Inspect and review rejected parts
  • Store and track GM parts and materials
  • Assist in shipping, receiving, and inventory reconciliation
  • Break down used pallets and boxes
  • Conduct daily warehouse inspections and report issues
  • Distribute accessory parts in the throw-in department as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
