Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass a physical examination and perform physical activities associated with the position
  • Must possess or obtain a valid State of Illinois Driver's License
  • Must pass applicable tests
  • Experience operating forklift equipment required
  • Basic keyboarding skills
  • Ability to perform arithmetical computations
  • Ability to transmit written and oral instructions
  • Ability to competently operate warehouse mechanical equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience operating forklift equipment
  • Basic keyboarding skills
  • Familiarity with warehousing hardware and software including Oracle systems
  • Ability to perform arithmetical computations including fractions, decimals and percentages
  • Ability to operate mechanical equipment used in warehouse operations
  • Ability to accurately count and check materials
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Preferably experience with RFID, scan gun and barcoding equipment

Job Duties

  • Inspect incoming materials to verify descriptions and quantities received
  • Load and unload material
  • Operate a variety of material handling equipment to move supplies
  • Pick, package and ship materials to various locations as required
  • Operate a computerized inventory control system to access and manage information
  • Perform janitorial duties and housekeeping tasks
  • Maintain the facility, equipment and materials in a neat, clean and efficient manner
  • Use computer equipment to enter, organize and retrieve information
  • Perform cycle inventory counts
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
