Job Requirements
- Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs frequently
- Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs occasionally
- Able to push utility carts up to 60 lbs
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Able to work at heights up to 40 ft on a mezzanine where applicable
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude
- Ability to accurately use basic math skills
- Ability to accurately read labels, tickets, and other documentation
- Ability to operate computer systems or handheld devices with training
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Able to be trained on and operate powered equipment safely
- Must understand, speak, and read English proficiently
- Food Distribution Center candidates must work in temperature-controlled environments including refrigerator and freezer
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills including counting, addition, and subtraction
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to operate computer systems or handheld devices after training
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Ability to understand, speak, and read English proficiently
- Ability to operate powered equipment safely including pallet rider, scissor lift, sit down and standup forklift
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Attend safety trainings
- Pack, load, and ship items to stores and guests
- Ensure accurate processing of merchandise
- Work safely, quickly and efficiently to handle freight
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area
- Report to work on time and complete tasks accurately
