Job Requirements

  • Must be over 18 years of age
  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Two years of previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry objects weighing up to 35 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license if required by client location
  • Able to pass motor vehicle record check if required

Job Duties

  • Receive and inspect products, accurately label items and report discrepancies in deliveries and invoices
  • Organize and store incoming products in assigned locations applying FIFO inventory controls
  • Operate and receive training on manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and forklifts
  • Pick inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or par levels
  • Follow all standard operating procedures to meet accuracy and production standards
  • Load, unload and transport products and materials using carts, powered industrial vehicles or motor vehicles
  • Conduct routine physical inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Complete administrative duties including inventory count documents, temperature and spoilage logs, and equipment inspections
  • Clean work areas including restrooms, break areas, loading docks, and freight platform delivery areas
  • Implement all safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures
  • Ensure security of client and company assets
  • Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests regarding business activities and attend meetings as required
