Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
Minimum of 1 year experience in a food service role
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods
Knowledge of safety procedures in food service environments
ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred

Job Qualifications

Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus
ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods
Experience with safety procedures typical in a cafeteria or food service environment

Job Duties

Verify accurate counts of products and supplies
Maintain proper rotation of ingredients and refrigerated/frozen food items
Load and unload trucks as necessary
May be assigned other tasks associated with the warehouse operation and/or kitchen as needed
Stocks and organizes the warehouse
Follows sanitation and safety guidelines
Supervise and direct inmate labor
Order paper, cleaning, tools, & food products based on menus
Ensure delivery vehicles are inspected
Oversee and manage drivers duties
Conduct daily and weekly inspections of areas
Conduct inmate and staff training
Tool control
Schedule preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment
Support all deliveries to kitchens and orders
Reconcile weekly usage report
Other duties as determined by the needs of the business
