Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • use hands for fine motor tasks
  • reach with arms and hands
  • communicate effectively through speech and hearing
  • ability to handle small components under a microscope for prolonged durations
  • routinely lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • ability to wear safety shoes
  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status or asylee or refugee status

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • ability to read various signage throughout the facility
  • comprehensive understanding of various documentation
  • understanding and communicating processes to ensure workplace safety and job efficiency

Job Duties

  • Assesses material needs and develops forecasts for assigned production area at the beginning of the shift and orders materials to support the production schedule
  • transports materials, including raw materials, components, packaging materials, finished goods and/or scrap, to/from production floor
  • completes required paperwork to accompany outgoing materials such as intercompany bills-of-lading
  • prepares outgoing materials using a variety of methods including, scanning, labeling, wrapping
  • unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items
  • lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift or pallet jack
  • posts weights and shipping charges
