Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in warehouse cleaning or sanitation preferred
  • ability to safely operate machinery and cleaning equipment
  • physical ability to lift and position containers weighing up to 50 pounds
  • availability to work first shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • flexibility to work overtime and weekends if needed
  • commitment to safety and following protocols
  • ability to wear personal protective equipment as required

Job Qualifications

  • familiarity with cleaning and sanitation in a warehouse setting
  • comfortable using cleaning equipment and machinery
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures relevant to forklift operations
  • ability to position containers weighing up to 50 pounds for at least 63 percent of the work shift

Job Duties

  • adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery
  • maintain awareness of pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the work area
  • wear appropriate personal protective equipment daily
  • report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately
  • perform routine cleaning and sanitization of bulk shipping containers utilizing pressure washers, foamers, and sanitizing fog
  • clean and sanitize containers using food grade chemicals mixed to correct concentrations
  • work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and conditions while wearing PPE
  • work flexible hours including overtime and weekends as needed
