Job Requirements
- minimum three months related experience in a warehouse environment
- ability to pass a drug screen as legally permissible
- basic English language skills both verbal and written
- ability to work additional hours including overtime if hired full-time
- ability to work at heights up to 60 feet as needed
- ability to lift, push, or pull merchandise weighing between 70 and 100 pounds
- must wear safety composite shoes
- ability to walk and stand 100 percent of the time
- must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- minimum three months related experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent training and education
- ability to communicate effectively in basic English both verbally and in writing
- ability and willingness to obtain Material Handling Equipment Operator certification
- inclusive approach to working with colleagues and customers
- ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations
Job Duties
- operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move products
- maintain cleanliness and perform general maintenance duties in the warehouse
- confirm accuracy of product and address discrepancies or damages
- manually unload trucks and palletize products
- organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets
- lift, lower, and carry products safely in a fast-paced environment
- ensure adherence to safety procedures and promote a culture of safety
