Job Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalent
- previous warehouse and power industrial vehicle experience such as a forklift
- forklift certification, preferred
- strong computer skills
- excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Job Duties
- Be the reliable primary contact for warehouse movement and for customer and local transportation provider interactions
- stock and organize product inventory for smooth warehouse operations
- load and unload freight using material handling equipment, power industrial vehicles such as a forklift
- maintain work equipment, inbound/outbound shipments, loads and picks material into/out of warehouse racks, between locations
- log inbound freight (UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, DHL)
- maintain, stock and arrange office and warehouse supply inventory required for effective operation
- flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required
- locate parts ensuring pallets are stable, observing pallet heights, material, racking, and equipment are not damaged and material is not left in aisles
- satisfy customer demands of internal customers including the timely delivery or removal of designated materials to or from the supported shop
- deliver high priority materials ahead of routine materials previously requested
- practice safe material handling techniques
- complete trainings as required including safety training, certification and testing
- reinforce culture of safety by utilizing all appropriate resources to safely perform all job functions
- perform housekeeping as assigned
- may be required to purchase warehouse supplies to maintain building
- assist in annual warehouse inventory
- work with local, regional freight companies (setup times, hot shots, etc)
- coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and freight accurately
- safely operate assigned material handling equipment ensuring all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe condition
- report all accidents/unsafe conditions to supervisor
- determine accurate material quantities by cycle counting
