Job Duties

Check trucks in and out using WMS
ensure quality and efficiency of trailer loading and unloading including pallet handling
operate forklift and work with Laser Guided Vehicles (LGV)
check outbound trailers prior to loading
monitor all LGV activity in warehouse
follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain inventory accuracy
prep loads for cross country shipments and customer requirements
maintain clean and safe work environment
receive all inbound orders into WMS including spring water and packaging materials
rebuild damaged pallets
process Returns Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs)
consolidate finished goods storage for maximum capacity
identify and report quality issues
validate new SKUs in WMS
correct LGV alarms
monitor loads
unload finished goods and raw material deliveries using forklift
maintain pallet storage area and stage pallets for LGV pickup
correct product spills
manually pull pallets from production as needed
supply production with non-inventory items like glue, bags, and labels
airbag loads
clear blocked WMS locations
facilitate flow of information between logistics, production, and sales
test and monitor resin and spring water
coordinate preload activities including inspecting trailers
communicate loading instructions to forklift drivers
provide loading documents and truck seals
maintain records and reports for shipping and inventory
engage in process improvement and cost reduction
maintain a clean, orderly and safe warehouse
ensure regular and predictable attendance
use proper phone etiquette for communications
coordinate with transportation and scheduling to ensure on-time shipments
troubleshoot loading issues
