Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of one year of warehouse supervisory experience or equivalent
  • Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, PDA, DOT regulations
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work third shift Sunday through Thursday 11:00 pm to 7:00 am

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum one year of applicable warehouse supervisory experience
  • Experience with OSHA, FDA, PDA, DOT regulations compliance
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical and business documentation
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and correspondence
  • Skilled in applying mathematical and analytical concepts
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capability
  • Experience in inventory management and regulatory compliance.

Job Duties

  • Study shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders to determine shipping priorities and methods
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Determine space requirements and layout for shipment positioning in trucks
  • Inspect loading and unloading operations for compliance with shipping specifications
  • Inspect and maintain material handling equipment for defects
  • Direct movement of shipments from shipping/receiving platform to storage and work areas
  • Issue written and oral instructions to staff
  • Standardize procedures to improve team efficiency
  • Maintain morale and resolve grievances among team members
  • Prepare composite reports from individual subordinate reports
  • Adjust errors and complaints
  • Participate in inventory record accuracy program
  • Maintain area in accordance with regulatory guidelines such as OSHA, FDA, PDA, DOT
  • Achieve shift goals in safety, quality, cost, customer service, and people development
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Directly supervise 2 or more warehouse employees per shift including hiring, training, appraising performance, and resolving problems
  • Ability to interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Present information and respond to questions effectively to various audiences
  • Apply mathematical concepts such as probability, statistics, geometry, and proportions to practical situations
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
  • Interpret technical instructions and manage abstract and concrete variables.
