Job Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations including team supervision
  • Associate degree preferred, vocational or technical education accepted
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols, food handling, and inventory best practices
  • Proficiency in computer systems and reporting including barcoding, warehouse systems, and timekeeping
  • Ability to lead a diverse team in a 24/7 operation with a focus on collaboration, safety, and efficiency
  • Experience working in or around union environments is a plus but not required

  • Forklift instructor certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Plan, implement, and monitor day-to-day warehouse operations to meet or exceed shipping, product rotation, sanitation, safety, and timeliness objectives
  • Monitor loading, dispatch, and receiving times ensuring compliance with QIP, HACCP, and DOT regulations
  • Communicate regularly with associates to ensure compliance with warehouse productivity, safety, and sanitation policies
  • Complete and monitor various computer-based and manual reports including time records, daily logs, and damage reports
  • Monitor product damage and audit routes to ensure reliable product delivery
  • Plan and schedule manpower
  • Coordinate vehicle and equipment maintenance and utilization reports
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
