Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or related field preferred
- minimum of 5 years experience in warehouse safety management
- ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and investigations
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- proficiency in safety management software and tools
- excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- commitment to continuous safety education and improvement
Job Qualifications
- proven experience in managing warehouse safety operations, preferably in an e-commerce or logistics environment
- safety certifications such as OSHA 30, CSP, or equivalent are highly valued
- strong problem-solving and risk assessment skills to identify potential safety hazards and develop mitigation strategies
- excellent communication and leadership skills to engage and educate employees on safety protocols
- in-depth knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and OSHA standards
Job Duties
- designing, implementing, and maintaining warehouse safety programs that comply with industry standards and regulations
- conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implementing measures to mitigate risks
- leading investigations into workplace accidents and ensuring the implementation of corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
- delivering safety training to all warehouse employees and subcontractors to promote a culture of safety
- ensuring full compliance with OSHA standards, local regulations, and the firm's internal safety policies
- partnering with operations and HR teams to integrate safety practices into daily warehouse operations and improve overall safety culture
