Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or associates and/or equivalent work experience required
  • 3-5 plus years experience in training, environmental and safety or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or production environment preferred
  • Entry level professional certifications in EH&S related fields considered beneficial and may include GSP, OHST, ASP
  • OSHA 10 certification a plus
  • MHE certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Foster and develop a culture where safety is a core value and zero incidents are actively pursued
  • Actively address unsafe behaviors and engage with management to enforce safety disciplines
  • Develop and implement programs, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance
  • Conduct safety audits, report findings, and enforce corrective actions
  • Participate in investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses and implement mitigations
  • Prepare and submit required safety and environmental reports to relevant agencies
  • Oversee and ensure execution of company training programs, focusing on new hire onboarding and ongoing associate training
