Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
relevant experience of 0-2 years
ability to operate materials handling equipment
capability to use cleaning supplies safely
physical ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, handle, carry, push, lift, and pull up to 60 pounds
ability to climb up to 4 feet with fall protection training
commitment to safety and productivity
reliable attendance
ability to work rotating first shift starting at 8 am
ability to work in cold warehouse environment
willingness to perform cleaning duties including use of bleach and other chemicals

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general equivalency diploma
ability to operate pallet jack and battery hoist
demonstrated commitment to safety
ability to use necessary cleaning supplies
excellent time management skills
ability to produce quality work
ability to maintain productivity and reliability
satisfactory attendance record

Job Duties

Clean and maintain warehouse aisles and product slots
clean spills including damaged product, oil, grease, broken glass, etc., using appropriate cleaning materials
clean slots with cleaning supplies and an electric scrubber, and replace product
occasionally pull product out of the slot with a pallet jack and clean behind it
clean break areas and offices when necessary
collect and bale plastic wrap throughout the shift
sweep, mop, buff and wax floors
vacuum carpeted offices and working areas
clean bathrooms, possibly using bleach products
collect shredded paper and empty boxes, and empty trash cans
clean fire extinguishers and windows
ensure lights are turned off and doors are locked when appropriate
perform other job-related duties as assigned
