Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow safety protocols and material handling procedures
- Physical ability to perform frequent standing, bending, lifting, and walking
- Capability to lift products weighing between 1 to 60 pounds
- Willingness to work in refrigerated and frozen environments
- Ability to work 2nd shift
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma
- Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation
- Strong commitment to quality and productivity
- Adherence to safety standards and company values
- Ability to stand, bend, pull, lift, and pivot for up to 90% of the shift
- Experience following safe material handling procedures
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments including refrigerated and frozen areas
Job Duties
- Provide and maintain a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian or janitor
- Perform janitorial duties including cleaning the warehouse, office space, employee break areas, windows, and restrooms
- Maintain good housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, and waxing floors
- Occasionally pull product out of pick slots using an electric pallet jack to clean with a scrubber and return product
- Tend to spills including damaged product, oil, and grease
- Collect plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes for proper disposal
- Follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
