Job Requirements

  • Must be over 18 years of age
  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Two years of previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic reading writing and arithmetic skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Manual dexterity for operating machinery
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently carry objects up to 35 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license required for some client locations where applicable
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting bending pushing pulling and extended walking or standing
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment as required

Job Duties

  • Receiving and inspecting products accurately labeling items and reporting discrepancies in reconciliation of deliveries and invoices
  • Organizing and storing incoming products in assigned locations applying FIFO inventory controls
  • Operating manual pallet jack electric pallet jack and forklifts as trained
  • Picking inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or established par levels
  • Following Standard Operating Procedures to meet accuracy and production standards
  • Loading unloading and transporting products and materials within warehouse or to client locations using carts or powered industrial vehicles
  • Conducting routine physical inventory counts based on established schedules
  • Completing administrative duties including inventory count documents temperature and spoilage logs equipment inspections and other records
  • Cleaning assigned work areas including restrooms break areas loading dock and freight areas
  • Implementing location safety policies OSHA requirements SDS standards and emergency procedures
  • Using required safety and personal protective equipment
  • Ensuring security of client and company assets
  • Interacting with clients employees vendors customers and guests about business activities and attending meetings as required
