Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
- Ability to work shifts Sunday through Thursday evenings
- Physical capability to perform manual labor and lift heavy weights
- Must be able to operate pallet jack and forklift after certification
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols and company policies
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts including required overtime
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
- Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull product weighing 10-35 lbs regularly and up to approximately 60-100 lbs
- Ability to work in multi-temperature environments including dry, cooler, and freezer
- Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check
- Ability to become EPJ certified within new-hire training period
- Ability to complete required training independently
Job Duties
- Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines
- Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions or acts immediately
- Review work schedule, obtain supplies required and prepare for operations
- Perform safety check on pallet jack or forklift and ensure all safety devices function properly
- Put on all required personal protective equipment and safety gear
- Meet required productivity and accuracy standards
- Place pallets on pallet jack and locate products according to order sheets
- Manually place stock items on pallets as required
- Transport completed palletized orders to shipping dock
- Shrink-wrap pallets for staging if required
- Remove and replace batteries on equipment
- Complete vehicle inspection checklist
- Secure all equipment and complete paperwork at shift end
- Perform other related duties as assigned
