Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years of age
- able to work 2nd shift (1 PM - 9:30 PM)
- pass pre-employment post-offer background check
- forklift certification within 30 days required
- yard goat certification within 1 year preferred
- ability to safely operate powered industrial truck with single-double attachment
- experience with tractor-trailer combination vehicles preferred
- able to work in fast-paced team environment
- strong communication and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- 1 year powered industrial truck experience within a production, warehouse, shipping operation preferred
- experience with commercial tractor-trailer combination vehicles preferred
- ability to safely operate a powered industrial truck with single-double attachment
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- strong math, reasoning, and space management skills
- ability to learn and master Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- excellent team player with ability to work independently
- strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Performs routine warehouse tasks including beer put away, material receiving, loading outbound shipments, building partial pallets, and packaging material staging
- utilizes warehouse systems and tools such as Yard Manager, Production Switchboard, Phoenix WMS, production schedules, POS warehouse, BOLs, ASNs, and BOMs
- operates department forklifts, layer forming tools like typard/bomber, pallet wrappers, print and apply stations, squeeze clamp tools, pallet flippers, and performs forklift battery exchanges
- demonstrates safe work practices
- manages inventory adjustments and FIFO warehousing best practices, conducts cycle counts using WMS to improve inventory accuracy
- works cross-functionally with Packaging, Quality, Brewing, Brewery Support, and Supply Chain departments
- participates in mobile equipment safety programs, conducts forklift inspections, escalates safety concerns, troubleshoots equipment issues, and reports property damage
- supports Safe Quality Food (SQF) system implementation and maintenance (Chico, CA only)
