Job Requirements
- Ability to be MHEO certified and safely operate necessary material handling equipment as required
- ability and willingness to keep work area clean
- inclusive approach with colleagues and customers to forge strong relationships and foster collaboration to resolve issues
- ability to adopt safety procedures quickly and ensure safe work practices
- ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations
- basic English language skills both verbal and written communications
- must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift if hired full-time
Job Qualifications
- 3 plus months related experience in a warehouse environment or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience
- ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally
- ability to lift, push or pull equipment or merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds
- must wear safety composite shoes
- ability to walk and stand 100 percent of the time
- must be at least 18 years old
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience preferred
Job Duties
- Manually loading trucks with products to be delivered to customers
- lifting, lowering and carrying product in a fast-paced environment
- stacking empty pallets and maintaining a safe and clean workspace
- ensuring safe work practices and embracing safety culture
- operating material handling equipment safely as required
- collaborating with colleagues and customers to resolve issues
