Job Requirements
- HS diploma or GED
- One month related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to frequently lift, push and pull objects up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work in an environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat, electrical shock risk, and loud noise
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs or ladders

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply understanding to carry out written and oral instructions
Job Duties
- Builds skids or boxes for packing and shipping of all orders
- Uses crosscut saw, miter saw, nail gun, staple gun and banding equipment as needed
- Follows AMI packing and preservation policies and procedures
- Performs quality inspections on orders to maintain 100% quality standards
- Marks all shipments in accordance with customer and AMI procedures and requirements
- Properly stencils shipping information as required
- Provides maintenance and keeps records of all equipment assigned
- Maintains clean work area
- Follows all company safety and quality policies and procedures
- Participates in TQM and SPC meetings
- May require lifting up to 50 pounds at a time
