Job Requirements

  • minimum three months related experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent combination of training education and experience
  • ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally
  • basic English language skills both verbal and written communications
  • ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift when required for full-time associates
  • ability to work at heights up to 60 feet as needed
  • ability to lift push or pull boxes merchandise weighing between 70 and 100 pounds by hand
  • must wear safety composite shoes
  • ability to walk and stand 100 percent of the time
  • must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
  • prior experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks and cherry pickers helpful
  • basic English language skills both verbal and written
  • ability to adopt safety procedures quickly and work effectively in a warehouse environment
  • strong communication and collaboration skills to forge relationships and resolve issues
  • material handling equipment operator certification preferred but training can be provided

Job Duties

  • operate material handling equipment such as forklifts cherry pickers turrets or electric pallet jacks to move and pick products up to 100 pounds
  • perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties inside and outside the facility
  • confirm accuracy of product and address discrepancies and damages collaboratively
  • manually unload trucks and palletize products
  • match item quantities and descriptions to packing slips on returned items and tag accordingly
  • organize stack and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets and load trucks manually while maintaining a safe workspace
  • ensure adherence to safety procedures and contribute to a culture of safety
