Job Requirements
- minimum three months related experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent combination of training education and experience
- ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally
- basic English language skills both verbal and written communications
- ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift when required for full-time associates
- ability to work at heights up to 60 feet as needed
- ability to lift push or pull boxes merchandise weighing between 70 and 100 pounds by hand
- must wear safety composite shoes
- ability to walk and stand 100 percent of the time
- must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- prior experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks and cherry pickers helpful
- basic English language skills both verbal and written
- ability to adopt safety procedures quickly and work effectively in a warehouse environment
- strong communication and collaboration skills to forge relationships and resolve issues
- material handling equipment operator certification preferred but training can be provided
Job Duties
- operate material handling equipment such as forklifts cherry pickers turrets or electric pallet jacks to move and pick products up to 100 pounds
- perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties inside and outside the facility
- confirm accuracy of product and address discrepancies and damages collaboratively
- manually unload trucks and palletize products
- match item quantities and descriptions to packing slips on returned items and tag accordingly
- organize stack and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets and load trucks manually while maintaining a safe workspace
- ensure adherence to safety procedures and contribute to a culture of safety
