Job Duties
- Collaborates with workers and managers to solve work-related problems
- Ensures that daily work assignments have been carried out and performed properly
- Assigns daily task assignments to the warehouse crew to ensure all work for the day is completed according to the direction of the warehouse supervisor or manager
- Refers personnel problems, complaints, and performance issues to higher-level supervisors for resolution
- Informs designated employees or departments of work orders and loads and any problems encountered
- Trains and monitors the warehouse crew in work-related activities
- Observes crew to ensure proper safety and business procedures are being followed in the performance of daily assignments
