Job Requirements
- general equivalency diploma or high school diploma
- ability to stand, bend, pull, lift, and pivot for up to 90 percent of the shift
- ability to lift product weighing between 1 and 60 pounds or more
- willingness to work 2nd shift overnight
- ability to work in perishable refrigerated environments
- adherence to safety procedures and protocols
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general equivalency diploma
- previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- commitment to safety and quality standards
- good communication and teamwork skills
- willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
Job Duties
- providing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian/janitor
- performing janitorial duties such as cleaning the entire warehouse, including office space, employee break areas, windows and restrooms
- maintaining good housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing and waxing floors
- occasionally pulling product out of pick slots using a pallet jack to clean with a scrubber and returning product
- tending to spills including damaged product, oil, grease
- collecting plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes to be disposed of properly
- following all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
