Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • must be 21 years of age
  • valid Class ‘C’ driver’s license or equivalent required by the Department of Transportation
  • prior work experience sufficient to work under general supervision
  • ability to operate forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles safely
  • ability to lift products weighing up to 150 pounds
  • willingness to perform physical labor and custodial tasks
  • availability to work in variable weather conditions and moderate noise environments
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • must maintain operator license if required

Job Qualifications

  • possess valid Class ‘C’ driver’s license or equivalent as required by the Department of Transportation

Job Duties

  • load and unload delivery trucks lifting products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds
  • handle tires by rolling, destacking, and team lifting for weights over 50 pounds
  • designate and organize warehouse stock by product line and physical alignment ensuring space for overflow
  • perform periodic facilities maintenance and custodial tasks including cleaning parking lot, loading dock, surrounding areas, and maintaining bathrooms
  • compile and submit reports of damaged, outdated stock, over and under shipments, and segregate defective products
  • prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading
  • assist in verifying accuracy of incoming and outgoing products and participate in periodic inventory counts
  • operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and maintain required licenses
  • assist in administrative tasks including handling and preparation of paperwork and daily closing of the warehouse
