Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum 1 year of freight forwarding experience
- reach truck operating capability
- ability to lift 50 lbs. continuously
- basic English reading and writing skills
- attention to detail in fast-paced environment
- strong organizational skills
- commitment to safety practices
- ability to operate power equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED or work equivalent preferred
- 1+ years freight forwarding experience preferred
- reach truck experience required
- reading and writing English
- knowledge of airport codes, destinations, and basic geography
- strong typing or data entry skills
- detail oriented
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- strong organizational and time management skills
- active participation in safety policies
- specialized computer knowledge
Job Duties
- Load and unload cartons or boxes of merchandise, materials, and product onto or off trailers or trucks
- determine where cartons need to be sorted and placed
- stack cartons or boxes onto pallets
- check, verify, and audit materials and enter data into a database
- operate power equipment to move merchandise
- lift up to 50 lbs. continuously
- identify and remove defective products
- put freight away in designated areas
