Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 25 years of age
  • clean driving record
  • valid driver's license
  • ability to safely drive a large delivery truck
  • ability to pass an extensive background screen
  • ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach and hear regularly
  • frequently lift and/or move up to 150 pounds without assistance
  • ability to stoop or crouch
  • good vision including close, distance, color and peripheral vision
  • ability to adjust focus
  • ability to work in moderate to loud noise levels
  • ability to follow safety precautions and wear required safety apparel
  • ability to work variable time commitments based on business need

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • dependable work history
  • prior warehouse experience preferred
  • familiarity with computers preferred
  • ability to develop proficiency in warehouse inventory scanning systems
  • excellent verbal and written English language skills
  • good customer service skills
  • strong work ethic and responsiveness to workload needs
  • ability to follow processes and identify areas for improvement
  • ability to learn safe operation of lift truck
  • ability to maintain open and effective communication

Job Duties

  • Safely loads and unloads trucks per delivery paperwork
  • works in a way that protects the product from damage during the warehousing and delivery process
  • performs visual quality inspections on product while loading and unloading
  • notifies manager or coworkers of shortages, discrepancies or anticipated needs
  • develops continuous improvement suggestions
  • ensures lift is operated in safe manner at all times, in all conditions
  • reports maintenance needs on material handling vehicles
  • meets company safety requirements by keeping work area neat and clean, following safety precautions and wearing required safety apparel
  • adheres to inventory integrity processes and assists in periodic physical inventory counts
  • at jobsite unloading, treats property and customers with high level of respect and courtesy
