Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred
- knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products
- ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and bending
- attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and visitors
- reliable and punctual attendance
- ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Job Duties
- Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
- gather and empty trash, consolidate trash for weekly pickup
- service, clean, and supply restrooms
- clean walls, racks, and equipment
- mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
- clean and restore building interiors using commercial cleaning equipment
- clean different surfaces using solvents, brushes, rags, and power cleaning equipment
- follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours
- move furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks
- notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
- remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snow blowers, and snow shovels, and spread snow melting chemicals
- set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings
- must be experienced or able to get certified in operating a Rider Jack
