Job Requirements
- Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally
- Ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift including overtime as needed for full-time associates
- Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more
- Ability to lift, push, or pull boxes or merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand
- Must wear safety composite shoes
- Ability to walk and stand 100 percent of the time
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- Minimum three months related experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
- Basic English language skills including verbal and written communication
- Ability to be certified as a Material Handling Equipment Operator
- Willingness to maintain a clean work area
- Ability to work safely and follow safety procedures
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience preferred
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers preferred
Job Duties
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move product within the warehouse
- Adhere to safety procedures while operating equipment and performing duties
- Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance inside and outside the facility
- Manually unload trucks and palletize products accurately
- Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets
- Load trucks manually while maintaining a safe and clean workspace
- Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts to resolve discrepancies and issues
