Job Requirements
- ability to stand for 7 hours during an 8 hour shift
- physical capability for repeated lifting, bending, stretching, and twisting
- knowledge of local and national wastewater regulations and ordinances
- appropriate certification and/or licensing where applicable
- willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- ability to maintain accurate records and productivity
- availability to work 2nd shift full time
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- knowledge of local and national wastewater regulations and ordinances
- ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods
- previous experience in wastewater system operation preferred
- appropriate certification or licensing where applicable
- strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- operate and maintain the facility wastewater system in compliance with local and national pollution ordinances
- mix chemicals for washing uniforms and ancillary products such as floor mats, shop towels, and dust mops
- perform physical activities including standing for 7 hours per shift and repeated lifting, bending, stretching, and twisting
- maintain daily accuracy and productivity for inventory control and accountability
- perform housekeeping duties to uphold facility cleanliness
- adhere to all health and safety standards and regulations
- ensure compliance with environmental policies and procedures
