Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- must pass a functional capacity test
- ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker
- ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift
- ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time
- ability to successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements
- ability to operate a Radio Frequency (RF) or Voice Pick device
- able to work varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- previous knowledge of SAP preferred
- one year warehouse experience preferred
- previous forklift certification preferred
- 6 months of previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred
- material handling equipment experience preferred
- reach truck experience a plus
Job Duties
- Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure
- load merchandise into appropriate truck
- drop merchandise for reserve to pick slots
- prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines
- repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery
- verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy
- accurately adhere to warehouse labor standards including Preferred Method Standard
- identify and report slot and put-away problems
- shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed
- perform housekeeping duties as assigned
- perform other duties as assigned
