Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods up to 12 hours
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds
- Ability to hear and see safety and emergency alarms
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and company policies
- Physical capacity to perform reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, pushing, and pulling tasks
Job Qualifications
- No education required
- Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Self-starter with adaptability to changing customer expectations
- Must be able to read and understand employment policies and safety procedures in English
Job Duties
- Load and unload cartons and merchandise from and to delivery trucks and conveyor systems
- Lift, carry, push, and pull packages on a continuous and repetitive basis
- Complete all processing, receiving, and shipping activities timely and according to productivity standards
- Accurately input data using PCs, handheld computers, radio frequency equipment, or similar devices
- Perform job functions safely and report any accidents or safety hazards promptly
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a positive work environment and achieve goals
