Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of relevant warehouse or distribution center experience
- physical fitness to continuously move within the facility and lift up to 40 pounds
- ability to operate power equipment safely
- adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment
- ability to work in varying environmental conditions such as noise and extreme temperatures
- strong safety focus and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in distribution center operations or warehouse experience
- experience operating power equipment including forklifts or reach trucks preferred
- experience performing detail-oriented tasks in fast-paced environments
- experience using spatial reasoning for effective product positioning
- strong safety orientation
- ability to work independently or as part of a team
Job Duties
- Use power equipment such as forklifts to unload deliveries and organize received items
- efficiently and accurately receive purchase orders by checking for damage and comparing with invoices or packaging lists
- accurately pull products from warehouse shelves based on item number, size, color, and quantity
- pack and stage completed purchase orders for delivery
- verify accuracy of items picked and staged for delivery by other associates
- achieve or exceed performance expectations in completing receiving tasks
- perform cross-functional tasks such as picking, pulling, labeling, shipping, and assisting with deliveries
