Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 months or less experience
  • Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing
  • Ability to follow safety procedures
  • Ability to perform physical demands of the job including lifting, pulling, pushing up to 50 lbs
  • Available to work regular business hours
  • Commitment to personal development and job retraining every 3-5 years

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 months or less experience
  • Able to effectively comprehend written materials and communicate orally and in writing
  • Forklift experience and certification highly desired
  • Warehouse operations experience highly desired
  • Basic problem-solving skills using established guidance
  • Some creativity to generate solutions within established boundaries
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member

Job Duties

  • Maintain company standards in housekeeping and contamination control
  • Greet customers promptly and professionally
  • Identify order accuracy and capture appropriate customer signatures
  • Pull and clearly identify materials following all applicable notes and instructions including location assignment and shipping information
  • Count, sort and place stock materials according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style or location
  • Receive shipments, examine, unpack and check for accuracy
  • Validate rejects, damaged items, shortages and notify appropriate parties
  • Prepare outbound shipments as per company guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
