Job Requirements
- have a valid state issued driver’s license
- submit to a motor vehicle record check
- submit to a physical screening and obtain a DOT Medical Card
- submit to pre-employment drug screening
- able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs unassisted regularly
- driver must be 21 years or older
- schedule includes weekends, some evenings, holiday work, inventory, and retail blackout periods
- successfully complete a background check and sign a nondisclosure agreement
- employment dependent on maintaining all DOT and driving certifications if applicable
Job Qualifications
- 1-3 years successful work experience preferably in a warehouse environment
- good communication skills
- able to read invoices and use computer terminals
- understand assemblies and operate small power tools
- able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs unassisted regularly
- obtain forklift certification if required
- valid state issued driver’s license
- CDL preferred but not required
- ability to follow safety procedures and DOT regulations
- ability to provide excellent customer service
- proficient in vehicle inspection and maintenance
- must be at least 21 years old to drive
Job Duties
- Deliver exceptional customer service and experience
- act as the brand ambassador while on the road and during deliveries
- provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service while delivering high-quality products
- drive large box trucks safely and courteously
- maintain a timely delivery schedule and communicate with customers
- inspect delivery vehicles pre and post trip
- maintain accurate delivery logs and records
- safely load and unload merchandise and assemble furniture
- affix tickets and prepare merchandise
- maintain inventory and clean delivery areas
- assist with showroom changes, tagging merchandise and maintaining displays
- greet clients and answer phones professionally
- locate, pick, load and unload merchandise
- perform light assembly and prepare merchandise for displays
- maintain accurate inventory
- assist with showroom upkeep and special projects
