Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6-12 months of warehouse or related experience
- ability to lift up to 75 pounds continuously
- able to operate warehouse vehicles and material handling equipment
- able to work in an environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise and dust
- able to meet productivity, quality, safety and attendance requirements including overtime
- must be able to operate powered industrial equipment
- able to work at elevated stations
- capable of operating computerized scanning equipment
- able to work effectively in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 6-12 months warehouse or related experience
- ability to operate computerized scanning equipment
- proficient in following safety and procedural guidelines
- ability to lift up to 75 pounds continuously
- capable of working at various elevated stations within the distribution center
- strong team collaboration skills
Job Duties
- Safely perform assigned warehouse functions utilizing established processes, procedures and tools while meeting performance expectations for productivity, quality, safety and attendance
- unload, put-away, sort, label, pick, pack, replenish, audit, ship and make boxes as required
- comply with Grainger policies, guidelines and procedures as well as state and federal regulations, OSHA and hazardous material requirements
- perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment
- actively participate in process improvements by utilizing Grainger's quality system
- operate powered industrial equipment such as Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett and Turret Truck as required
- work collaboratively in a team environment
