Job Requirements
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment including exposure to temperature extremes
- must adhere to safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- must be able to read, count, and write accurately for documentation purposes
- prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 70 lbs
- ability to operate motor vehicles and heavy equipment including forklifts and power pallet jacks
- must be able to work varied hours and days as needed to fulfill job responsibilities
- forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification

- willingness to learn and comply with food safety and sanitation standards
- team-oriented and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- minimum one year experience working in a warehouse and or distribution center environment as a general warehouse worker or order selector required
- valid Alabama driver's license
- ability to read and perform basic mathematical functions
Job Duties
- Pack partners' orders and assist with receiving and unloading deliveries
- inspect and store food products accurately and safely on storage racks and pallets
- ensure partners' food orders are accurate and done in a timely manner
- operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks with training or certification
- ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the warehouse, office, and surrounding areas
- conduct and support regular inventory counts quarterly or as needed
- perform daily checks and routine maintenance on equipment such as fluid levels and batteries
- demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to food safety and food defense protocols
- assist with any additional duties as assigned by warehouse management
