Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous logistics or distribution experience
  • Ability to obtain all dangerous goods certifications
  • Familiar with Warehouse Management System functionality SAP and BMW WM
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to speak or understand Spanish or German is a plus but not required
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Able to perform physical tasks including driving, pulling, kneeling, reaching, standing, twisting, walking, climbing, pushing, and squatting
  • Available for 2nd shift work (12:30 pm - 9:00 pm)
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Commitment to adhering to BMW core values and work rules

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous logistics or distribution experience
  • Ability to obtain all dangerous goods certifications
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management System functionality such as SAP and BMW WM
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to speak or understand Spanish or German is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Perform daily operational tasks assigned by RDC management staff
  • Complete assigned warehouse activities including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, returns, and inventory control
  • Act in accordance with BMW core values and guiding principles
  • Use powered industrial equipment and process federally regulated dangerous goods with necessary certifications
  • Meet and maintain required levels of performance such as quality and productivity
  • Comply with BMW Value Added Production System (VPS) and maintain essential supplies on equipment or work area
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment at all times
