Job Requirements
- No degree required
- Must be able to correctly identify and match inventory part numbers at a fast pace
- Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week
- Ability to walk and stand regularly on hard surfaces
- Ability to manually push and pull carts
- Capacity to lift and move up to 40 pounds frequently
- Ability to bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch throughout the day
- Capability to climb or balance on ladders
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures including hot and cold environments
- Ability to adjust vision focus
- Ability to comply with safety regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors
- Must be able to report injuries and safety concerns within 24 hours.
Job Qualifications
- Prior related experience helpful in warehouse or distribution center roles
- Basic English reading, writing, oral communication and arithmetic skills
- Computer literate with knowledge of Excel, Word, Email, and Internet
- Ability to learn new software applications
- Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a growing company environment
- Self-starter with initiative.
Job Duties
- Pulls and double checks customer orders accurately and in a timely fashion
- Restocks incoming inventory to correct locations in warehouse and maintains overstock areas
- Ensures all customer orders are treated with the highest priority and shipped same day if received before noon
- Incorporates and applies AMain's Core Values into daily duties
- Receives and applies direction from Distribution Center Manager, Supervisor, and Shift Lead
- Recognizes, documents, and reports any issues or concerns to management promptly
- Reports injuries and safety issues within 24 hours
- Communicates ideas for better organization and workflow verbally or in writing
- Performs packing and shipping of customer orders as needed
- Receives incoming inventory, unpacks, checks and scans against invoices
- Integrates new inventory stock using current organizational procedures
- Maintains tools and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
