- Ability to comprehend and accurately process paperwork in accordance with policies and procedures
- Flexibility and adaptability with good multi-tasking skills
- Previous experience with radio frequency scanners voice pick or material handling equipment preferred
- Experience working with technology such as computers or point of sale systems a plus
Job Duties
- Follow established process to fulfill orders including accurately picking products performing quality control checks packing products inputting product information into computer and preparing orders for shipment
- Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed including order picking outbound dock renal fluid packing IV fluid packing and automated storage and retrieval systems
- Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment using required personal protective equipment such as steel-toed safety shoes and material handling harness
- Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required including order picker cherry picker pacer counterbalance reach truck pallet jack and walkie rider
- Apply acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
- Learn and apply new information and methods to work in assigned area
- Maintain appropriate licenses training and certifications
- Work on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
- Adhere to all quality guidelines and work within clearly defined standard operating procedures
- Work under moderate degree of supervision with regular review of output by supervisor
- Refer complex or unusual problems to supervisor
