Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds
  • ability to bend reach stoop lift and stand for full shifts
  • must be able to work overtime
  • comfortable working at heights of 25 to 30 feet
  • willing to be trained and certified on material handling equipment
  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • flexibility and adaptability
  • ability to follow directions and change priorities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • previous experience with radio frequency scanners voice picking or material handling equipment preferred
  • experience working with computer technologies or point of sale systems a plus
  • flexibility and adaptability with good multitasking skills
  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • self-motivated and able to work in a team-oriented environment with limited supervision
  • ability to follow directions and change priorities
  • ability to comprehend and accurately process paperwork

Job Duties

  • Follow established process to fulfill orders including picking products performing quality control checks packing products inputting product information into computer and preparing orders for shipment
  • cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects such as order picking outbound dock renal fluid packing IV fluid packing and automated storage and retrieval system
  • perform housekeeping inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment including use of steel-toed safety shoes and material handling harness
  • train and become certified to operate material handling equipment such as cherry picker pacer counterbalance reach truck pallet jack and walkie rider
  • apply acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
  • learn and apply new information and methods to work in assigned areas
  • work under moderate supervision while adhering to quality guidelines
