Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work full-time on-site in a temperature-controlled warehouse
- Availability for weekends and holidays
- Capability to lift 50+ pounds repetitively
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Prior experience with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
Job Qualifications
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- At least 2 years experience operating electrical pallet jacks
- Strong reading and math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation
- Experience using voice-directed picking systems
- Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred
Job Duties
- Safely operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and stand up forklifts
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
- Use warehouse technology such as RF scanners and inventory systems to track orders and inventory
- Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols
- Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately
- Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy
- Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products
