Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent practical or military experience
- 0-1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus
- Ability to pass a background check post offer acceptance
Job Duties
- Examine shipment contents and compare them with records
- Communicate with leadership to address issues like damages or shortages
- Ensure received inventory is placed correctly within the warehouse
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of inventory
- Perform order picking and assist with shipping
- Accurately sort and load delivery trucks
- Ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete
- Maintain a customer service-oriented attitude
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Handle lifting items up to 75 pounds consistently
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Apply sound decision-making and problem-solving skills while focusing on safety
