Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • valid forklift certification for picker role
  • minimum of 6 months experience operating forklifts safely
  • ability to work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods
  • availability for full-time, on-site work with weekend and holiday availability
  • ability to work in temperature-controlled warehouse environments (-5°F to 38°F)

Job Qualifications

  • valid forklift certification and 6+ months of safe equipment operation
  • strong reading and math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation
  • experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred
  • use of voice-directed picking system (VoCollect headset)
  • strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
  • basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments

Job Duties

  • safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift)
  • inspect incoming and outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
  • maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
  • use warehouse technology such as RF scanners and inventory systems to track orders and inventory
  • follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols
  • use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately
  • conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy
  • follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products
