Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid forklift certification for picker role
- minimum of 6 months experience operating forklifts safely
- ability to work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods
- availability for full-time, on-site work with weekend and holiday availability
- ability to work in temperature-controlled warehouse environments (-5°F to 38°F)
Job Qualifications
- valid forklift certification and 6+ months of safe equipment operation
- strong reading and math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation
- experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred
- use of voice-directed picking system (VoCollect headset)
- strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
- basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
Job Duties
- safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift)
- inspect incoming and outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
- maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
- use warehouse technology such as RF scanners and inventory systems to track orders and inventory
- follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols
- use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately
- conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy
- follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products
