Job Requirements
- High school or GED required
- previous experience with bar coding and automatic data collection preferred
- ability to work overtime, irregular hours or rotating shifts
- excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency with basic office equipment
- understanding of numbers and basic statistics
- ability to add, subtract, and average numbers
- ability to analyze and present data
- bilingual English/Spanish skills helpful
- ability to communicate and work with diverse individuals in plant and corporate environments
- proficiency in Microsoft applications
- adaptability to a constantly changing environment

Job Duties
- Review and maintain seal, driver, and move logs
- update all whiteboards in the office with current information
- manage on-duty drivers and coordinate vehicle moves throughout the day
- request empty reefers needed during the day
- notify Transportation department when trailers are out of service
- gather yard checks throughout the day and review them for potential issues
- ensure the yard is free of congestion by managing proper trailer flow
- monitor trailer temperatures and alerts using truck monitoring software
- maintain warehouse paperwork and files
- cross-train in all duties and responsibilities in the warehouse office
- suggest ways to control labor and supply costs and improve processes
- ensure compliance with quality, safety, legal, and food safety requirements
- follow all Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- maintain a high level of safety awareness for an accident-free workplace
- report unsafe or hazardous work conditions to management
- accomplish all tasks as assigned or requested
