Job Requirements
- Must be able to perform with minimal or no supervision
- must be able to climb, bend, stand for extended periods
- ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent
- valid driver’s license may be required based on facility
- ability to lift and move items up to 75 pounds
- willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to work in a noisy environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- less than one year related experience or training
- ability to operate forklift and material handling equipment
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to read and interpret maps and technical documents
- capacity to work with minimal supervision
- ability to lift and move heavy items
- experience in ERP environment is desirable
- valid driver’s license is a plus
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to maintain a safe work environment
Job Duties
- Receive and stock product in bulk and package form
- repackage products
- perform tank readings
- handle customer pick-ups
- manage less-than-truckload shipments
- restock warehouse and driver supplies
- load, fill and label drums, kegs, pails and other containers from bulk
- place containers on pallets for transport or stock
- pick and stage products for delivery loading according to schedule
- load and properly secure products in delivery trucks following manifest
- unload delivery trucks efficiently and store products appropriately
- complete and submit accurate records of products received or filled daily
- update products loaded on trucks using load and unload slips
- retrieve and submit packing slips for received products timely
- operate forklift, hand truck, pallet, and electric jack as needed
- assist in tracking returned drum inventory
- maintain warehouse area clean, orderly and safe
- report maintenance issues including fire extinguisher checks
- complete accurate inventory of products as needed
- adhere to company policies and safety procedures
- maintain flexible work schedule including irregular hours, weekends, and holidays
- pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- interact positively with customers
- maintain professional conduct at all times
